New Thubron/CBA-Yorkshire Award
The Thubron/CBA-Yorkshire Award (previously King/Thubron Award) has been presented every two years since 1995. This is a helpful sum of £200 intended to support any work undertaken by student or amateur archaeologists that contributes to the greater understanding of Yorkshire’s archaeology. It can be awarded on the basis of an application to the award panel using the form here, or to a party applying under the general grants fund (see above).
The award is normally announced at the AGM in early February, but as this will be delayed in 2022 due to Covid concerns, this year we are inviting applications by mid-2022 (precise date TBA) for consideration at the next quarterly committee meeting after the specified deadline. In the meantime we are accepting applications.
To apply for the Thubron/CBA-Yorkshire award please email grants@cba-yorkshire.org.uk
