Fieldwork Opportunities
Opportunities for hands-on archaeological fieldwork in Yorkshire come in many ways: excavations, surveys, post-excavation work.
Many local societies and groups conduct their own fieldwork. Some archaeological contractors may also take volunteers. There are also field schools where you pay to learn how to carry out archaeology. When we know of any such opportunities we'll post on this page.
