Exploring the Imagery in Wakefield Chantry Chapel

County: West Yorkshire

Wed 20 July 10.30–11.30

A chance to look carefully at the images in the windows and stonework of the historic chantry as rebuilt in 1848 and 1939.

The stained glass windows and stone frieze portray biblical scenes but what are they? How many donkeys can you find?

Free, Donations welcome.

Location: The Chantry Chapel of St Mary the Virgin, Wakefield Bridge, Wakefield. Parking is available outside the chapel on the medieval bridge.
