posted 26 Apr 2011, 03:15 by Paul Brayford   [ updated 12 Feb 2012, 09:16 ]
10.6.11–11.6.11
Held at University of Bradford.

The aim of the short course is to provide a solid base on how to process and interpret data and is aimed at part-time users of earth resistance and magnetometers. There is an assumption that the attendees will have some experience of collecting geophysical data and they will be encouraged to bring data to the sessions. Geoplot will be used as the course software and anyone wishing to attend who has a laptop with this software pre-installed is encouraged to bring it with them to the session to use.

The course will be largely delivered by Dr Chris Gaffney (of Time Team fame), but PhD students from the University of Bradford will also be on-hand during the sessions.

10% off for national CBA Members. Places are limited so if you wish to attend please book early to avoid disappointment!

For more information contact Phil Pollard at Community Archaeology Bursaries Coordinator, email philpollard@britarch.ac.uk, web www.britarch.ac.uk/community/bursaries. The cost is £10.
