Join us at the Yorkshire Museum today to help us celebrate the Festival of British Archaeology. Includes curators talks, finds identification and guided walks.

Programme of events:

10.30 am – 12.00 pm–Finds Identification 
Bring along your own finds to find out more about their origin and purpose.

12.00 pm – 1.00 pm – Curators Talk
Learn more about the Yorkshire Museum’s collection and enjoy a handling session with some genuine artefacts. Please book in advance on 01904 650333.

1.30 pm – 3.00 pm – Finds Identification
For those who couldn’t make this mornings session. Bring along your own finds to find out more about their origin and purpose.

Guided Archaeological Walk around Museum Gardens – Times TBC
Enjoy a tour around the Museum Gardens with our experienced Guides to discover the secrets that are buried beneath.
