A Blast from the Past

Sutton Bank lies within an important archaeological landscape for evidence of our prehistoric past, together with a medieval castle and traces of defences from WWII. Fantastic day out for all.

Danelaw Living History group brings history alive, activities from various periods including:
meet a Celt, a Roman Soldier, a Medieval Monk, a 19th-century farm worker and more!

Join in and have a go at some traditional crafts.

Roulston Scar Fort and the Kilburn White Horse walk. 4 miles starting at 2pm-4.30pm from the centre.

A fort , a castle and a view–family walk 1.30pm-3pm.

Get Diggy with it 10.30-12.30.

Childrens activity 2pm-4pm.
