To launch the celebrations for the Festival of British Archaeology, Leeds City Museum is delighted to have Television’s ancient Roman food expert, Dr Sally Grainger spends an evening cooking for us and showing us the secrets of ancient Roman kitchens, complete with her own commis slave!

Come and enjoy an authentic ancient food evening complete with the real food, cutting edge research and ancient Roman cookery equipment from Leeds’ collections.

£10 for lecture, demo and tasters. Please book in advance at the Museum Gift Shop
