Lithics for Illustrators Workshop - Worcester - 5 Sep 2012

Forthcoming Lithics for Illustrators Workshop at The Hive, Worcester on 5th September 2012. £30 per person or £20 for Graphics archaeology Group (IfA) members.

Would you like to discuss your work with fellow specialists?

This workshop is aimed at archaeological illustrators with some experience of artefact illustration, but who would like to expand their skills in this area.

In a seminar style day school, illustrators will be able to discuss with a lithic specialist, aspects of manufacture, use damage, wear and other features to look out for in a collection of lithics.

Participants are encouraged to bring along examples of their work or artefacts for discussion.

Hugo Anderson Whymark will lead the dayschool.
A lithics consultant based in Oxford, Hugo specialises in Late Upper Palaeolithic to Post medieval lithic industries of the British Isles and offers services to museums, universities and commercial archaeological organisations.

£30 per person or £20 for members of the Graphics Archaeology Group of the IfA .
