LEADER Coast, Wolds, Wetlands and Waterways Fast Track Grant Scheme

The LEADER Coast, Wolds, Wetlands and Waterways Fast Track Grant Scheme supports communities and organisations with archaeological, historical, landscape and cultural rural heritage projects. Projects could include: 
  • restoring historic buildings
  • community archaeology
  • heritage conservation
  • heritage interpretation, education,
  • engagement and events
  • developing heritage skills
  • improving access to rural heritage
The LEADER Coast, Wolds, Wetlands and Waterways area includes most rural parishes in the East Riding of Yorkshire and adjacent parishes in North Yorkshire.

If your project falls within the LEADER area you may be eligible for a grant from the scheme.

They provide grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 for projects within the LEADER area of up to £20,000 in value.

If you have a project, or an idea for one, contact the Rural Programmes Team at The Team will support you through the application process and will provide detailed development advice and guidance. Alternatively, visit the Rural Programmes website and complete the Fast Track Grant Expression of Interest Form. Guidance notes and project examples are there to help you. The application procedure is straightforward in order to help communities and organisations realise their projects.
