You may have seen the stories in the media, in late June, about remarks by the leader of Fenland District Council in Cambridgeshire on the subject of archaeology and consideration of planning issues. CBA Yorkshire is concerned to discover whether similar sentiments are being held in Yorkshire councils. If you have experienced any difficulties in getting archaeological conditions to be properly considered in the planning process, we would be grateful if you would tell us abou them, so we can build up a picture. Send your stories to us at web@cba-yorkshire.org.uk or add comments below.
