Individual membership
The benefits of membership are - you will receive an annual publication, Forum, reporting on recent archaeological work in Yorkshire (usually published in February each year)
- you will get reduced price entry to the annual symposium, in February each year, where members report on their work
- you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of other meetings, day-schools and events during the year
- you will have the opportunity of becoming involved in the development of archaeology in the region
Individual membership of CBA Yorkshire is only £5.00 a year. To join print the attached form and return it with a cheque to us.
Affiliate membership for organisations
Affiliate membership provides the following benefits - you will receive an annual publication, Forum, reporting on recent archaeological work in Yorkshire (usually published in February each year)
- you will get reduced price entry for one person to the annual symposium, in February each year, where members report on their work
- you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of other meetings, day-schools and events during the year
- you will have the opportunity of becoming involved in the development of archaeology in the region
- you will have a place on the management committee of CBA Yorkshire, which meets 3-4 times a year, and receive copies of all agenda and minutes
- you will have access to the CBA Endorsed Insurance Scheme for archaeologists operated by Towergate Risk Solutions Fareham
Affiliate membership for societies, local groups, charities, voluntary and similar organisations is £5.00 a year. Affiliate membership for commercial and public sector organisations (including library and museums trusts) is £7.00 a year.
National CBA Membership
You may also join us as part of national CBA membership. National membership costs more but you will also receive copies of British Archaeology magazine and access to a wider range of events. For more information see the main Council for British Archaeology website |
