The Society’s next two lectures are coming up at the weekend, as follows.
n Saturday 9th April 2022, at 11.00 am, there will be a session in the Family History Section programme, delivered online using the Zoom.  The speaker will be Kitty Ross, Curator of Abbey House Museum, Leeds, and her topic will be ‘Twentieth Century Childhood’.

Please join the Zoom waiting room from about 10:50 am onwards on Saturday and wait to be admitted.  Please do not join the waiting room too early as it is possible the system may time you out. More information can be found on the YAHS website on how to join these lectures.

Later the same day, at 2.00 pm, there will be a meeting in the Medieval Studies Section programme.  The speaker will be Matt Oakey on ‘Aerial Photography’.

You may also care to note as a date for your diary that we hope to hold the Society’s Annual General Meeting, both in person at Stringer House (34 Lupton Street, Hunslet) and online, at 2.00 pm on Saturday 11th June. Further details will be circulated in the near future.
