South Yorkshire Culture Survey 2020

Posted on 24/May/2020 Under Uncategorised

JUHS are asking for respondents to their survey on culture, arts and heritage in South Yorkshire. This survey is being conducted by ChamberlainWalker Economics on behalf of the South Yorkshire local authorities to inform a report on the contribution of culture, arts and heritage to the South Yorkshire economy.

The following survey is being undertaken on behalf of the four Local Authorities in the Sheffield City Region, the SCR Combined Authority, and Wentworth & Elsecar Great Place. Your responses will help to produce a report that describes the existing culture, arts and heritage landscape in our area, analyses the impact and potential of the sector, and makes proposals for unlocking that potential.

Please note that the closing date is 29 May 2020.

One particular issue that has arisen since the original commission of the survey is, of course, the coronavirus pandemic, and the survey includes questions about the impact it is having. Given the unprecedented threat that this crisis poses to the sector, amongst the wider economic damage, it is even more important that the particular case for culture, art and heritage is made as strongly as possible and that discussion about what recovery should look like starts as soon as possible.

The survey is entirely voluntary and you can provide as much or as little information as you wish (feel free to add any additional views or comments that are not explicitly covered). All responses will be treated confidentially.
