York Archaeology Conference 2019 “Discovering Anglian York: Digging in the Dark”

The York Archaeology Conference 2019, “Discovering Anglian York: Digging in the Dark” is being hosted by the City of York council and sponsored by the York ARchaeological Forum, advisor to the City of York Council on Archaeology and the Historic Environment.

This year’s conference will focus on Eoforwic, Anglian York. The talks will provide an overview of current knowledge and recent discoveries, and will discuss issues of visibility, where should we be looking and why have we so much yet to find?

The conference will take place on Saturday 16 November, 10.00am till 5.00pm, in the George Hudson Room at West Offices.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £5 for students.
