Recent updates to planning applications from CBA Yorkshire

Both the Roman Ridge (Sheffield) and Castle Hill (Kirklees- ) planning applications remain pending.
The delay regarding the former application is perhaps due to the preparation of a revised layout for the proposed development. With regard to Castle Hill, members of the Strategic Planning Committee are being consulted on all the issues raised by the application. The report of the Head of Strategic Investment implies that Kirklees Council would welcome development on the site, seeing it as an asset to the district, but that there are too many problems with this particular application. A three-way meeting between the applicants, the Council and Historic England has been proposed and an amended design is expected to be submitted. This may require a further round of consultations.
